FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cast irons to be used for production of parts for mills and grinders, etc. Proposed composition contains the following substances, in wt %: carbon - 2.8-3.2, silicon - 2.8-3.2, manganese - 0.6-0.8, chromium - 1,0-1,5; nickel - 2.0-2.5; vanadium - 0.6-0.8; aluminium - 0.02-0.03; barium - 0.0005-0.001; copper - 0.6-0.8; zirconium - 1.5-2.0; hafnium - 2.6-3.0; boron - 0.1-0.15, iron making the rest.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance.
