SUBSTANCE: invention is related to railroads and may be used in construction of railroad and tramway tracks, subway, and also park amusements. On railroad comprising two guide rail tracks formed by rails that are fixed with gap and at least one inclined section with lift (in second version - horizontal section), on inclined section (in second version - on horizontal section) ends of at least most further (receiving) rails are arranged with displacement h to the side of road base compared to ends of previous (giving) rails, which are located in the same gap, at that h>0. Method of railroad operation including traveling of vehicles on railroad comprising at least inclined section with lift (in second version - horizontal section), on inclined section (in second version - on horizontal section) ends of at least most further (receiving) rails are arranged with displacement h to the side of road base compared to ends of previous (giving) rails, which are located in the same gap, at that h>0.

EFFECT: saving of power inputs during vehicles lifting along rail road, increased service life of rail track, tramways, rolling stock, subways wagons, in higher comfort and convenience of passengers.
