FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method for operation of rail road consists in transport means traffic in one direction. Rail road comprises two guide rail tracks, which are formed by rails coupled with clearance. At least on one section of rail road, ends of at least most receiving rails are arranged with displacement h>0 to the side of road base compared to according ends of giving rails, which are located in the same clearance.
EFFECT: reduced power inputs for transportation of goods and passengers, prevention of rails creeping, reduction of impact loads and noise, increased comfort and convenience for passengers, increased service life of rail track and railway rolling stock.
