FIELD: heating systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for heat and hot water supply to industrial and domestic objects, and for heating process liquids. Rotary-cavitation heat generator consists of a housing with inlet and outlet for heated liquid, and has cylindrical cavity wherein there arranged are two coaxial rings one of which is fixed rigidly relative to housing, and the other one is installed with the possibility of rotating on drive shaft that is coaxial to rings equipped with radial holes. Inner ring is solid-metal and has the possibility of rotating about heat generator housing, and is equipped with an impeller located on end surface of the ring opposite to heat generator inlet; outer ring is made in the form of a sleeve rigidly installed in the housing on mounting surfaces with variable clearance of 1 mm near end surfaces of housing up to 5 mm in the centre relative to inner surface of housing; heat generator inlet is located coaxially to drive shaft, and outlet - along the centre of housing in the area of maximum clearance between housing and sleeve.
EFFECT: reducing energy consumption, simplifying the design, and improving life-time of the device.
