SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication devices. The device for a multi-domain computer system includes several virtual domain systems, each of which has an independent routing specimen connected to it. Virtual communicators are configured for working as if they are second level communicators. The virtual communicator and the virtual domain are connected with the help of virtual interfaces, where the virtual communicator, virtual domains and the virtual interfaces are created by software. Apart from this, protocols, such as ARP, IP and/or IPv6, work through the virtual interfaces as if they were working through Ethernet. Also each domain has a software driver, which behaves similarly to the Ethernet driver and has a 48-bit Ethernet-like address, which is used as a physical address.

EFFECT: reduction in the costs of carrying out inter-domain connection by forming a uniprocessor network with a virtual communicator.
