FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat power engineering, and namely to compositions of materials for heat transfer under peak load conditions. High-temperature heat carrier meant for heat-stressed power plants with heat load of more than 1 MW/m2 and operating temperature of more than 400°C based on eutectic mixture of inorganic salts, which includes lithium fluoride LiF, consists of sodium metaphosphate NaPO3 and potassium molybdate K2Mo2O7 or sodium tetraborate Na2B4O7 at the following component ratio: the first composition, wt %: NaPO3 64-87, Na2B4O7 3-25, LiF 8-15, or the second composition, wt %: NaPO3 25-49, K2Mo2O7 48-72, LiF 3-10.
EFFECT: obtaining non-toxic, non-combustible heat carrier that can be available in molten condition without any change in chemical composition at low pressure of intrinsic vapours within wide temperature range of 400 to 1200°C, thus remaining inert relative to the main structural materials based on iron alloys.
