FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tobacco refuse processing technology. The method envisages extracting roasted coffee with liquid carbon dioxide and isolating the respective miscella. Then, under the method proposed, tobacco material is mixed with liquid carbon dioxide, extracted and crushed with the pressure in the extraction mixture bulk periodically relieved to be below the saturated carbon dioxide vapour pressure at extraction temperature. After that miscella and meal are separated; the miscellae to have been isolated become mixed while the meal is suspended in water solution of an edible polybasic acid supersalt. After that, as proposed, potable polyatomic alcohol is added to the suspension; the suspension is moulded, dried for residual moisture content to be 13-15%, cut and imbued with the miscellae mixture. The imbibition is done under increasing pressure conditions. After that depressurisation is done to the atmospheric pressure level combined with the absorbed carbon dioxide freezing. Finally, sublimation yields the target product.

EFFECT: invention enables reduction of the technological process duration and production of reconstituted tobacco characterised by improved organoleptical properties.
