SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to medicine, namely, to oncology and may be used in routine practice of departments of morbid pathologies of hospitals, oncologic dispensaries, specialised centres and SRI for evaluation of life duration in patients with mesonephroid ovarian carcinoma. Life duration is predicted (in months) in patients with mesonephroid ovarian carcinoma evaluating certain parametres of the tumor from the expression: DL_(months)=54.036-0.681*X₁-1.124*X₂+0.737*X₃, where X₁ - mean area of the tumor cell nucleus area (mcm²) is measured by eye-piece micrometer or television image analyser; X₂ - mitotic index (%) is determined by calculation of the total number of segmentation figures per 1000 tumor cells; X₃ - volume ratio of necrotising tissues in the tumorous node (%) is measured by means of morphometry grids or television image analyser.

EFFECT: method increases accuracy of prediction of life duration in patients with mesonephroid ovarian carcinoma, decreases number of calculated variables, gives a possibility of its use in planning of the management approach of such patients and choice of treatment method.
