FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly otolaryngology, and is intended for chronic tonsillitis treatment. Method involves lymphotropic administration of antibiotic and immunocorrection agent in single dose. Lymphotropic administration is performed by subcutaneous injection in area below mastoid bone by 1-3 cm along anterior or posterior edge of clavisternomastoid muscle. Antibiotic is administered for the first 3-5 days. Immunocorrection agent is administered for the following 5-8 days. Cefatoxime can be used as antibiotic, and polyoxydonium or cycloferon can be used as immunocorrection agent. Course of treatment comprises 8-13 days.
EFFECT: clinical remission achieved, prevention of complications along with high efficiency of the method.
