FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge is intended for fixing an axial tool with inner channels appearing on its shank end. The inner channels are designed for supplying cooling agent. The axial tool includes housing with longitudinal axis coinciding with the cartridge axis and a shank end for its fixing in work spindle. There is an opening along spindle axis to accommodate axial tool shank end. The axial tool is provided with a mechanism supplying cooling agent to it. The said mechanism includes an adjusting screw with head and axial hole and spring-loaded bearing which is capable of moving axially along longitudinal axis of housing. The said spring-loaded bushing is located in the nipple opening which is intended for connecting with machine cooling agent supply system. The nipple is installed in the housing so that it can swing with regard to its longitudinal axis. In addition, the said adjusting screw is installed in the housing so that it can interact with axial tool shank end by its head from one side and with spring-loaded bushing - from the other side. To improve cooling of axial tool, there are holes in adjusting screw which are made at an angle to longitudinal axis of housing. One end of the above mentioned holes face the axial opening of the housing, while the other ends are at the screw end opposite to channel outlets provided on the axial tool shank end. Besides the axial opening of adjusting screw is closed from the side of axial tool shank end. There is an extended part on adjusting screw end, which is designed to interact with groove made on axial shank end.
