FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to non-destructive inspection of welded joint by either spot, or projection, or seam contact welding and can be used in quality inspection of critical welded aluminium and titanium alloy structures. Powdered test material is sprayed on the surface of at least one welded component. It is followed with welding and inspection procedure. Powdered test material is heat-resistant powder of density exceeding that of material of a welded component. Spraying time is specified 0.1 s and less. Welding procedure takes 48 hours starting from test material powder spraying on a welded component while observing the ratio as follows 0.8ε>n>0.2ε, where ε= (dn/p) 2; dn is nuclear diametre of a welded point chosen from the least weld joint thickness, mm; dp is particle diametre of sprayed powder, mm; n is powder particle number per the area limited by nuclear diametre of a welded point.
EFFECT: production of stable and quality joint.
