FIELD: destruction quality control processes in plants for making fuel assemblies of nuclear reactors. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing technological sample of two mutually joined cells; placing sample outside field of cells in operation zone of robot and of welding tongs; after welding and destructing, at inspection of cast core receiving data confirming working order of equipment, of technological fitting and of matched welding parameters; then welding in first direction on the whole field of cells in parallel relative to two mutually opposite faces of hexagonal field of cells at simultaneously welding (arranged in field of cells) controlled sample in the form of fragment consisting of three cells; similarly preparing and testing second technological sample; welding in second direction on the whole field of cells in parallel relative to two other mutually opposite faces of hexagonal field of cells at simultaneously welding controlled sample in second direction; preparing and testing third technological sample; welding in third direction on the whole field of cells in parallel relative to two mutually opposite phases of controlled sample in third direction without welding controlled sample; after destruction receiving data concerning quality of welding along three directions; placing cells instead of controlled sample fragment and welding them along three direction one to another and to adjacent cells. EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joints of cells welded one to another and to rim, improved operational reliability of fuel assemblies in nuclear reactor. 5 dwg
