FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in cementation at 920-940°C, in successive high temperature tempering at 640-680°C, in hardening at 980-1000°C, in intermediate tempering at 500-520°C, in cold treatment at least twice and in final tempering.
EFFECT: upgraded fatigue resistance at bending, contact durability and impact resilience of cemented layer, which facilitates high bearing property of parts of reducers and friction pairs under conditions of high temperature, including emergency situations at oil flow out from reducer.
