FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: nose dome for turbo-machine such as, in particular turbojet engine, is installed at the end of shaft that bears propeller blades, and serves for control of inclination angle of coming air flow on propeller blade roots. Nose dome is installed on mentioned shaft with the help of facilities for controlled axial displacement, therefore axial position of dome is varied relative to propeller blades. Nose dome is displaced along axis between front position for provision of protection against indraft of solid particles and substances and back position for optimisation of inclination angles of air flow on propeller blade roots.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to optimise angle of air flow incline on propeller blade roots at different stages of flight, at that it provides for efficient protection against indraft of ice and solid objects or particles.
