FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to measuring techniques and is meant for measuring rate of dust accumulation in mines. The sensor for controlling rate of dust accumulation consists of a detector element, connected to a data processing and transfer unit through a synchroniser unit and a power supply. The detector element is provided with microbalances, consisting of a receiving platform and a piezo crystal, and an exciting circuit. Power is supplied from the power supply to the data processing and transfer unit, synchroniser unit and exciting circuit of microbalances.
EFFECT: more accurate measurement of rate of dust accumulation in mines.
