FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to powder metallurgy, particularly to magnetic materials on base of system rare earth element-transient metal-boron containing magnetic powder with coating facilitating resistance to corrosion and oxidation under influence of aggressive environments. The composition for applying coatings in relation to weight of magnetic powder contains, wt %: 0.18-4.46 of epoxy resin, 0.01-0.27 of hardener on base of amine, 0.003-0.27 of lubricant, 0.1-1 of organic-titanium or organic-zirconium binding agent. General type of the binding agent is (RO-)n(Ti or Zr)(-OR'Y)4-n, where R-neoamyl(diallyl), dioctyl or ditridecyl end group with 1≤n≤4. Introducing binding agent and other additives together with magnetic powder and epoxy components prevents oxidation and corrosion and improves adhesion and dispersion between filler and matrix.
EFFECT: facilitating resistance to corrosion and oxidation under influence of aggressive environments.
