FIELD: physics; communication.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to communication systems and can be used for duplex communication in wireless communication systems. In the method of duplex communication, frequency of the return communication line and direct communication line is assigned using an orthogonal method such that, in one time instant, a defined carrier frequency is used for transmission in the communication return line or direct communication line, and at another time instant - used for transmission in the direct communication line or return communication line. The communication device for realising duplex communication contains apparatus for receiving information during the first period of time on at the first carrier frequency in the first direction of transmission, apparatus for transmitting information during the first period of time at the second carrier frequency in the second direction of transmission, apparatus for transmitting information during the second period of time at the first carrier frequency in the second direction of transmission, apparatus for regulating one or more transmission parametres for transmitting information during the second period of time based on information, received during the first period of time, and apparatus for receiving information during the second period of time at the second carrier frequency in the first direction of transmission.

EFFECT: optimisation of parametres and improvement of transmission capacity.
