FIELD: tobacco industry. SUBSTANCE: smoking product has rodlike core manufactured from ground tobacco and wrapped with tissue paper. Tissue paper is made from material containing at least 75% by weight of tobacco material, i.e. tobacco extract and tobacco cellulose. Tobacco extract is produced from mixture of tobacco leaves or mixture of cut tobacco, as well as from tobacco leaf veins. Tobacco cellulose is produced from mixture of cut tobacco or tobacco wastes, as well as from material containing tobacco stalk or leaf veins used in the ratio of 1:1.1 to 1:5. Smoking product contains nontobacco cellulose used in an amount not exceeding 20% by weight and commonly used additives, such as binders, fillers, substance optimizing paper charring extent and aromatizers. Additives are taken in an amount not exceeding 15% by weight. Outer layer of wrap is made in the form of strip of partially glued tissue paper wound in spiral path at an acute angle to smoking article axis. Core wrapping layer is made from tissue paper glued along core axis. EFFECT: improved quality of side stream smoke and provision for expected smoke taste. 20 cl, 4 tbl
