SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to composition of cast irons. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.2-3.6; silicon 1.0-1.4; manganese 0.3-0.7; chrome 0.1-0.15; titanium 0.13-0.17; rare-earth metals 0.13-0.17; aluminium 0.4-0.6; calcium 0.002-0.004; magnesium 0.002-0.004; copper 2.9-3.1; cobalt 2.9-3.1; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: hardening of cast iron.
