SUBSTANCE: low-alloyed cast iron contains the following components, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.2; silicon 1.0-1.5; manganese 0.01-0.02; phosphorus 0.03-0.07; sulfur 0.03-0.07; copper 0.15-0.2; nickel 0.2-0.3; chrome 0.1-0.15; titanium 0.001-0.002; cobalt 0.03-0.07; aluminium 0.2-0.3; gallium 0.0001-0.0003; hafnium 0.05-0.09; molybdenum 0.1-0.3; lead 0.01-0.03; tin 0.001-0.003; iron - balance.
EFFECT: improved quality of cast iron items surface.
