FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotor vortex machines and can be used in pumps, engines and compressors. The proposed rotor vortex machine comprises a stator and rotor that form a working chamber communicating with working medium intake and discharge lines. The working chamber cross section width h is equal to the difference between the chamber maximum and minimum radii defined as the distance from the machine axis to the most distant and the closest points of the chamber, respectively. The working chamber houses the blades and separator linked up with the stator and rotor, respectively. Every blade has its front edge facing the rotor. The separator features cutoff edges congruent to the blade front edge and separating the separator surface area that faces the blade front edges. The blade is mounted at β=0 to 26°. The blade front edge direction angle at α=0 to 70°. The blade thickness from its edge to 0.8h increases by linear law with proportionality factor equal to 0.1 to 0.2. It is recommended to keep the working chamber maximum radius-to-chamber section width within 4.5 to 9.5.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
