FIELD: valves and accessories.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valves and accessories and serves to automatically shut off the pipeline flow section in the case of abrupt temperature increase, for example, in fires. The proposed thermal shut-off valve comprises straight-through body with a seat. Spring-loaded shut-off member with a rod is mounted coaxially with the seat. The rod passes through the baffle central bore and is furnished with the valve-open-state retainer. There is an annular bore arranged concentrically with the baffle central bore. The rod is furnished with an annular groove. Aforesaid retainer seats between the bore side wall and the groove surface and represents one or several coils of wire made from material that features the shape memory. In compliance with the shape memory, the coil inner diametre is smaller than that of the rod, while the outer diametre is smaller than the baffle bore diametre.

EFFECT: simpler design and assembly, longer life and higher reliability.
