FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to support-and-protective facilities on ships with nuclear steam-raising unit (NSRU) during nuclear reactor overcharge. Multifunctional carrier ring is implemented in the form of sleeve with parallel through-hole with fixed to it directional mount for providing of alignment of reactor cap and guided baffle of pick-and-place equipment during the installation in reactor vessel throat. In vessel of carrier ring there are implemented holes at least two, through for its installation on reactor vessel by directional of a different height tapers, holes at least three, for nuts installation and its fixation to the reactor vessel and closed holes in amount of reactor stud for its top parts location and of depth, preventing of stud thread damage. On the external surface of sleeve it is implemented annular groove, closed by cover shell, forming collector, connected by means of holes to parallel through-hole of sleeve with ability of radioactive aerosol exhaust from over-reactor space. Shell is implemented by external diametre of sleeve vessel. On the bottom butt of sleeve it is implemented annular groove for placement of seal arrangement, providing butt tightness of carrier ring with reactor vessel. On outside surface of sleeve vessel it is implemented string with V-shaped annular groove for alignment and fixation of pick-and-place equipment products, on surface of string it is implemented hole for pin installation with ability of angular displacement exclusion of pick-and-place equipment. On cover shell it is welded on reinforcing ring with ability of its rigidity providing and protection against ingress of foreign objects into gap between carrier ring and reactor vessel shell.
EFFECT: provision of reactor elements protection against mechanical failures, locating and fixation of pick-and-place equipment during the time of reactor overcharge and radiation safety of maintenance staff.
