FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to X-ray engineering, namely to rotary anodes of X-ray tubes. Method for manufacture of X-ray tube anode includes manufacture of anode substrate from titanium or its beta-alloys in the form of conic disc or in the form of conic disc with annular groove arranged in the area of focus path location, placement of molybdenum plate layers and target on conic disc surface or in annular groove, installation of intermediate layers between titanium or beta-alloy substrate surface and molybdenum plate, between molybdenum plate and target, placement of assembled structure in vacuum chamber with further thermal treatment under load, which is carried out in two stages, initially at the first stage heating is carried out up to temperature of 600°C and maintained under load of 0.5 kg/mm2 for 5 minutes, then heating is continued up to temperature of 0.6-0.8 from melt temperature of most fusible material in assembly and maintained for the period from 10 to 180 minutes, after increase of load from 0.5 to 5 kg/mm2, assembled structure is cooled down to 150°C, product is withdrawn, and quality is controlled. Intermediate layers are made of materials with melt temperature that is lower or higher than maximum temperature of thermal treatment process, and load application is realised by puncheon made of rhenium.
EFFECT: increased reliability and resource of anode structure.
