FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: process includes formation of target of refractory metal on conical surface of anode disk. Target is formed separately in the form of conical ring by hot stamping with specified conicity angle with subsequent hot assembly of manufactured target by forced fit on to entire conical surface of anode disk or on to focal track with subsequent thermal treatment. Selected conditions of deformation-thermal technology ensure achievement of mentioned result. EFFECT: enhanced stability and duration of anodes under action of alternating cyclic thermal loads and high irradiation doses, increased power of X-ray tubes. 3 cl, 6 dwg
