FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: installation consists of rafts equipped with nurse ponds for mussels; foreign bodies in form of pearl balls are introduced into mantles of mussels. The installation is also equipped with piers, one of which is situated parallel to shoreline. Other piers are assembled perpendicular to shore line in parallel and at a distance one from another. Such arrangement of piers divides area of the sea into a plantation-reproducer for reproduction of young mussels, a plantation for growing of mussels producing pearls and a raft maneuvering zone. The plantation-reproducer is located between and under parallel piers. Equipped with electric drives coils of drums with mesh bands, belt conveyers, flexible brushes and distributors of liquid and powder-like or granulated mineral substances are secured under the piers. The plantations for growth of pearls are arranged on both sides from the plantation-reproducer and have rafts. The rafts are equipped with removable frames with nurse ponds for mussels. The rafts are arranged in rows parallel to each other; the distributors of liquid, or powder like or granulated substances with microelements are placed between the rafts. The rafts and distributors are connected with electric hoists by means of cables. Overhead monorail is assembled between shore and the pier, the monorail is equipped with a runabout crane and an operator's cabin. Monorail divides sea area into plantations and zone of maneuvering of pier motion during load handling operations. The rafts have frames each containing nurse ponds made in form of pockets-sections arranged in rows at several levels. Each pocket-section has a mesh cover equipped with a button stop and with side partitions. The zone of maneuvered motion of rafts in water is located beyond boundaries of the pier arranged parallel to shore line. The maneuvering zone is equipped with support poles, with blocks and electric hoists. The hoists are mounted on the pier and the sea shore and are designed so, that rafts with set of frames with nurse ponds can move from the shore to sea and back. Moving of rafts is performed by means of remote control connected to the electric hoists with electric circuit assembled in the operator's cabin on overhead monorail. Such design facilitates efficiency.
