FIELD: production processes.

SUBSTANCE: device of reagent foaming capacity determination that implements the method includes computer for calculating the average value of foam layer height, frequency and quantity of cylinder vibrations. Additionally there is shaking device for reagent mechanical shaking in cylinder by periodic movements of vertically installed cylinder upwards and downwards. Shaking device has a motor. Also, there is mechanism for conversion of rotational motion into translation one with cylinder fixed in it, lighting unit for lighting the foam in cylinder, camera, transducer-amplifier for transformation and amplification of computer signal for motor rotation speed control. Camera group output is connected to computer group input, computer group output is connected to transducer-amplifier group input, and transducer-amplifier output is connected to motor. Lighting unit is located in such a way that radiated light is directed to foam column in cylinder from above and from below. Camera is located in such a way that the cylinder fixed in mechanism for conversion of rotation movement into translation one is in its coverage.

EFFECT: increase of determination accuracy of reagent foaming capacity at the expense of foam formation process control, decrease of method and device practical application difficulty via increase of automation level and decrease of time spent at rinsing of device parts contacting reagent.
