FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to manufacture of refractory materials and is intended for production of carbon-bearing products and bodies in refractory and metallurgic industry. Alkylresorcinol-formaldehyde binding substance includes poly-condensation polymer, modifier and dissolver at the following ratio of components, wt %: poly-condensation polymer 70-80, modifier 1-3, dissolver 19-27. Alkylresorcinol-formaldehyde resin based on alkylresorcinol cut fractions boiling off at a temperature above 270 Celsius degrees and formaldehyde is used as poly-condensation polymer, boric acid is used as a modifier, and mixture of furfuryl alcohol and ethyl cellosolve - as a dissolver.

EFFECT: getting environmentally safe, highly viable binding agent, whereat samples of refractories produced there with possess high physical-mechanical properties.
