FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: cone bit for boring horizontal boreholes consists of case with mounting thread, of rock destroying elements, of watercourses including central inclined watercourse made from side of bottomhole and reinforced with wear resistant coating or equipped with core breaker with main bit inserts. Equipment of the cone bit is made in form of cutting rows of successively arranged one after another rock destroying teeth assembled on one-thread, two- or more- thread conic screwed blades divided with conic screwed grooves for discharge of flushing fluid and particles of bored rock from bottomhole. Also optimal value of lifting angle of conic screwed blades is within ranges 48°÷75°. Optimal incline angle of hole for core to axis of cone bit is within ranges 15°÷23°. Optimal value of diametre of hole for core is 12%÷18% from external diametre of cone bit. Watercourses for removing bored rock out of bottomhole are directed from the central course into external screwed grooves with incline to their surface at acute angle in the direction of rising flow of flushing fluid.
EFFECT: increased mechanical rate of boring.
