FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for being installed on hydraulic and pneumatic mechanisms and devices, working members of which carry out rotational and/or reciprocal movement. Seal includes an element creating compression and made in the form of a set of sealing rings installed with a clearance relative to inner surface of the cylinder being sealed, and at least one support made in the form of a number of longitudinal guides made from wear-resistant material with low friction factor.
EFFECT: increasing life time and reliability of seal.
