FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: applied shock testing stand has frame, an electric motor fixed on the frame, connected through a chain transmission to a worm gear, which provides for successive transmission of torque to an elastic clutch (6) and a flywheel (7) with a roller (8). Loading the balance beam (9) is provided for by the roller (8) when it overcomes the force of spring (12) of the loading mechanism (12, 13). This mechanism provides for changing the range of values of force for loading the spring (12) using a spring pre-compression mechanism (13), to provide for impact action of the balance beam (9) on the material or ball bearing. Changing frequency of applying dynamic loads is made possible by changing the number of rollers (8) on the flywheel (7). Oscillation amplitude values of the balance beam (9) can be changed by changing the radius of location of the roller (8) on the flywheel (7).
EFFECT: wider range of dynamic loads, determination of their service life and provision for simulating loads, similar to real operating conditions of ball bearings of an automobile suspension system.
