FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely to forensic medicine, and can be used for establishment of prescription of death of the person on late terms of the posthumous period. Electric resistance of a vitreous of an eye of a corpse is measured. In case of finding of a corpse at an ambient temperature from +4°C to +10°C, calculation of prescription of death is carried out under the formula: where DP - prescription of death of the person, (days); R100 Hz - electric resistance of a vitreous of an eye on frequency of a current of measurement of 100 Hz, (kOhm); R100 Hz - electric resistance of a vitreous of an eye on frequency of a current of measurement 100 kHz, (kOhm); Age - age died, (full years); Cx - concentration of alcohol in blood of a corpse, (%o). At an ambient temperature from +11°C to +20°C - under the formula: where DP - prescription of death of the person, (days); R100 Hz - electric resistance of a vitreous of an eye on frequency of a current of measurement of 100 Hz, (kOhm); R100 Hz - electric resistance of a vitreous of an eye on frequency of a current of measurement 100 kHz, (kiloohm); Age - age died, (full years); Cx - concentration of alcohol in blood of a corpse, (%o).

EFFECT: the way raises accuracy of an establishment of prescription of death of the person on late term of the posthumous period.
