FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: operating artificial heart ventricle ensures replacement of blood from a liquid cavity of a membrane pump through an exhaust valve in systole phase by means of a pusher contacting to an elastic membrane in a gas cavity of the membrane pump and moved by an electromechanical drive. The liquid cavity of the membrane pump is filled with blood through an inlet valve in diastole phase when the pusher moves to the opposite direction by the electromechanical drive. As the compensation chamber, a sealed elastic cover is used. While ventricle is operating, the elastic membrane of the pump is positioned with controlling the electromechanical drive of the pusher depending on the fixed position of the elastic membrane. The elastic membrane is positioned referring to the change in volume of the elastic cover of the compensation chamber by a motion sensor of the elastic cover. Activation of the electromechanical drive to move the pusher in the direction providing blood replacement from the liquid cavity of the membrane pump is carried out at the maximum volume of the elastic cover of the compensation chamber. Operation mode switching of the electromechanical drive to move the pusher in the opposite direction at the beginning of blood filling of the liquid chamber of the membrane pump is carried out at the minimum volume of the elastic cover of the compensation chamber.
EFFECT: design simplification, increased resource ensured by elimination of thrombosis development on the membrane surface.
