FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: acne treatment is ensured as follows. The affected skin areas are exposed ultraviolet light distanced 25-35 cm therefrom at wavelength 320-400 nm and radiant power 15.8-16.2 W/m. Ammiphurin is used as a psoralen. Exposure time for the first session makes 2 min, while duration of each following session is increased by 30 seconds. Before the exposure session, Ammiphurin is applied on the affected skin areas or prescribed for intake in a dose derived from the patient's body weight and calculated from 1.0-1.2 mg/kg of body weight 3 hours before the exposure session.
