FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes heating of blank in chamber furnace, isolation with following cooling, cold drawing and recrystallisation annealing of rods. Formation of thermal cracks is excluded by means of metal location is implemented into heated up to 880-900°C chamber furnace, heating up to temperature 1040-1050°C is implemented during 1.5-2.0 hours with following isolation and cooling on air, recrystallisation annealing is implemented at temperature 1020-1060°C with application of high-speed heating not later than after 4 hours from the drawing beginning.
EFFECT: improvement of calibrated bars of decagonal shape from austenitic precipitation hardening steels received by means of drawing.
