SUBSTANCE: method includes into Baeyer branches grinding and following milling of bauxite in spillage solutions, pressure leaching, pulp thickening with receiving of aluminate mud and red mud, washing of red mud, decomposition of aluminate mud with receiving of aluminium hydroxide and mother solution, evaporation of mother solution with receiving of spillage solution, calcination of aluminium hydroxide with receiving of alumina. In sintering branch it includes mixture preparation, mixture sintering with receiving of cake and dust, leaching of received cake with receiving of aluminate mud, containing silica, and red mud. Dust after sintering operation is directed to bauxite milling operation in spillage solution. Dust after sintering operation of mixture is mixed with spillage solution and directed to bauxite milling operation in the form of pulp or in a dry form.

EFFECT: increasing of alumina extraction in branch of Baeyer and reduction of alkali content in red mud.
