FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: ceramic mass for brick production includes clay and 5.0% aqueous solution of methyl methacrylate copolymer (MMA) with 73-80% methacrylic acid (MK) with molecular mass of 800000, at the following ratio of components, wt %: clay - 75-81; 5.0% aqueous solution of copolymer (MMA) with 73-80% (MK) with molecular mass of 800000 - 1-3; water - the rest. Method for brick production includes mixing of ceramic mass components, moulding of stocks, drying and burning by means slow temperature rise to 800°C for three hours and their further soaking for two hours at the temperature of 800°C and stocks cooling for 15 hours.
EFFECT: lower temperature of burning and time of brick soaking, higher plasticity of mass.
