FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: described is thickened liquid bleaching composition including water, hypochlorite bleaching agent, surface-active substance and from 0.1 to 8% wt of electrolyte from line of hydroxides, halogenides, sulphates, carbonates of alkali metals and their mixtures. Composition contains two different types of alkali metal ions, molar concentration of less prevailing alkali metal ion in composition constituting at least 10% of total content of alkali metal ions.

EFFECT: composition, based on inexpensive and easily available substances for thickening, possesses sufficient viscosity to be used for application on vertical or inclined surfaces.
