POWER SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E21B41/00 F03B13/00

Abstract RU 2361066 C2

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to system and to method of supplying remote underwater installation with electric power. The system consists of at least one electric controlled component, and of a line for fluid supply coming from the underwater installation to the second installation designed to supply fluid under pressure to the underwater installation via the supply line. The underwater installation consists of equipment for pressurising of fluid supplied into a well or into fluid coming from the well. The system consists of equipment for generating electric power, which includes a turbine functionally connected with the supply line on the underwater installation and generating electric power from the said fluid. Generated power provides current for at least one electric governed component. The second installation is designed to boost pressure of supplied fluid to a level exceeding the level required for pressurising fluid into the well or into fluid coming from the well on the underwater installation.

EFFECT: facilitating reliability and continuous functioning of system.
