FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-and-mass exchange, and can be used in condensation of service vapours, for water deaeration for cooling of gases and heating of fluids and solutions and for adsorption of substances contained in gaseous media. The proposed method of conducting heat-and-mass exchange between gaseous or vapourous media and fluid consists in making up fluid into jets running out into gaseous or vapourous medium, and in primary jet strikes against the screen arranged in the said medium to form minor secondary jets. Note here that formed secondary fluid jets are immersed into the flow of fluid being treated to entrapped by gaseous or vapourous medium layer to form a developed surface of interfacial relationship. The proposed apparatus comprises the casing, its top accommodating jet-forming device incorporating jet-forming elements directed downward, and the screen mounted below aforesaid elements. Note here that open-top vessel is mounted below the said screen for the treated fluid layer to be constantly maintained in operation of the apparatus.
EFFECT: higher intensity and completeness of heat-and-mass exchange between fluid and gaseous or vapourous media, if compared with known designs and methods.
