FIELD: direct-contact heat-exchange apparatus.

SUBSTANCE: heat and mass exchange apparatus comprises means for supplying fluid, means for supplying steam, housing separated into the top and bottom chambers with the lateral baffle provided with the hydraulic gate valve, at least one floor fluid distributor that defines the stage of condensation and mounted along the height of the housing so that the steam penetrates through the fluid shield in opposite directions with respect to the adjacent stages of condensation, and vertical passage for steam flow arranged along the housing. The inlet and outlet of the vertical passage is in communication with the bottom and top chambers, respectively. The top section of the chamber is provided with nozzles directed downward and connected with the means for supplying fluid and branch pipe for discharging noncondensing gases. The bottom chamber is provided with at least one shelf fluid distributor mounted under the transverse baffle. The hydraulic gate valve is in communication with the transverse baffle. The means for supplying steam is in communication with the condensation stage corresponding to the shelf fluid distributor and underlying the transverse baffle. According to the first version, the vertical passage is defined by the walls of the housing and walls of the top and bottom chambers. According to the second version, the vertical passage is made of a by-pass pipeline. According to both of the versions, the shelf fluid distributors should be inclined and solid, and the branch pipe for discharging noncondensing gases should be mounted in the bottom section of the top chamber.
