FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and may be used in designing log-periodic antenna intended for directed signal radiation and receiving within metre and decimetre range of wave length. The antenna contains double-wire power line made up from hollow conductors. The said conductors are made composite and include current-conducting shell and side piece. The said side piece is covered by the above shell and made from a material, having higher strength as compared to the shell material. In addition, the above mentioned conductors are in the shape of channel bars or elements with U-shaped cross-section. The said conductors are manufactured from flexible or semi-finished pieces consisting of two mated planes of plates. The plate, which is an external surface of the channel bar is manufactured from current-conducting material, while the other plate, forming the internal surface of the channel bar, is made from a material having higher strength as compared to the said current-conducting material. The conductors are mounted so that their longitudinal open sides are directed toward each other and clearance between them, along their length and from both sides is closed by the insulating material-based plates joined with conductor flanges.
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing technology of antenna with hard structure.
