SUBSTANCE: according to the invention there are proposed method and device of ensuring quality of service (QoS) of packet data transmission service rendered in communication system by submitting it to mobile terminals receiving packet data service in standby mode of radio recourses control (RRC) level, and means of providing network with information about quality of received service. To this effect, mobile terminal receiving some service, e.g. multimedia broadcasting/multiaddressing transmission service (MBMS), can transmit information concerning quality of received service or results of estimating quality of received service to the network through common control channel either as answer to network inquiry for estimating or in case when mobile terminal states that quality of received service is lower than minimal quality service that must be rendered.
EFFECT: ensuring possibility of transmitting information concerning quality of received service to the network.
