FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and can be used while producing high-quality biologically active supplements (BAS) taken before food as preventive measures or for production functional foods. BAS with hepato-protective properties is tomato extracts powder. The powder is obtained by drying tomato extract up to humidity of 6-7% then it is minced in fine helix-rotatining film of 0.1-0.5 mm at pulsing pressure gradient of 5-70MPa and temperature of 40°C. BAS obtains hepatoprotective properties due to presence of physiologically functional ingredients such as polyunsaturated fat acids, dietary fibers, vitamins E, C and PP, β-carotine.
EFFECT: food obtains hepato-protective properties.
