FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and can be used for production of high quality dietary supplement, which can be consumed as prophylactic drug and diet therapy or used for production of functional food products. Dietary supplement with hypocholesteremic properties is a powder from tomato refuses. The powder is produced by drying tomato refuses up to moisture content 6-7%, following mincing in 0.1-0.5 mm thick thin film running in circle at fluctuating pressure gradient 50-70 MPa and 35-40°C of temperature.
EFFECT: dietary supplement contains food physically functional components, namely E vitamins, β-carotene, polyunsaturated fatty acids food fibers and thus has hypocholesteremic properties.
