FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to granulated materials drying techniques and can be used in carbon production. The proposed method of withdrawing waste heat carrier from external-heating drying drum consists in that the waste heat carrier is forced into after-entrapping system. Note here that the waste heat carrier, coming from additional branch pipe arranged on the drum loading side, is forced into atmosphere via heating chamber smoke pipe. Waste heat carrier, forced via branch pipe, arranged on the side of dry granules discharge, is directed for purification. The waste heat carrier, coming from additional branch pipe arranged on the drum humid material loading side, is forced into atmosphere.
EFFECT: reduced risks of moisture condensation in after-entrapping system, smaller floor area of purification equipment.
