FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used to measure acoustic resistance of homogenous media. Substance of invention is the following: between test and reference medium plane boundary of acoustic contact is created; acoustic vibrations are induced in reference medium in direction of created boundary, signals reflected from the above boundary are received and their amplitude is registered. Meanwhile auxiliary plane boundary of acoustic contact is created between test and the second reference medium with acoustic resistance different from the first reference medium. In the second reference medium acoustic vibrations are induced in direction of additionally created boundary, signals reflected from this boundary are received. Correction of amplitude of signals received after reflection from the first and the second boundary of reference media from test medium. Such correlation is used for calculation of acoustic resistance for test medium as per respective mathematical expression.
EFFECT: provision of acoustic resistance measurement for test medium in real time when this medium feature is changing constantly.
