FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to procedures that allow estimating surface properties of materials and can be used in development of power nanotechnologies. The proposed method consists in that a drop of surfactant solution is applied on known-thickness layer for the maximum radius of fluid displacement to be recorded with the help of video- or picture camera. The maximum radius of displace fluid layer and initially known fluid layer thickness are used to determine fluid layer volume displaced by surfactant. Fluid volume and density are used to determine amount of fluid displaced by surfactant.
EFFECT: chances of determining amount of fluid displaced by surfactant.
