FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to quantitative instrumentation and can be used in liquid chromatography. The proposed device comprises quartz pan mount arranged in refractometre detector measurement unit, between lower and upper metal covers and two fluoroplastic plates thermally treated in inert nitrogen atmosphere at 390 to 430°C for 4 to 1.5 hours to eliminate fluoroplastic cold flow. The said plates one side is polished to mirror surface, the plates being fitted in seats of aforesaid upper and lower plates to match preset sizes and imposed on the quartz pan end faces. Metal pins arranged at the lower metal cover and passed through the upper metal cover through channels are nut-tightened to ensure quartz pan attachment. To feed/discharge eluent from the pan quantitative and comparison channels, said metal covers are furnished with four threaded tapered holes. There are holes in fluoroplastic plates, aligned with the former ones, to allow eluent to flow through the quantitative and comparison channels, and the holes to mount feed and discharge fluoroplastic capillaries to be screwed to metal covers.
EFFECT: elimination of contact between eluent and fluid path metal surface.
