FIELD: personal and household objects.
SUBSTANCE: hair drier has a casing provided with inlet openings, meant for sucking air using a fan equipped with an electric motor, which directs the air stream towards the outlet opening through an electrical heating element. The device has an apparatus for controlling operation mode in accordance with different power levels of the heating element and the fan, as well as an indicator of the selected operation mode. The device has a control button which allows for switching between operation modes with manual regulation and operation mode with preset automatic regulation. The control button is connected to the indicator, meant for informing the user on the selected operation mode of the device, using an actuating mechanism which moves two indicator surfaces. Proposed also are versions of a device for making hairstyles or treating hair, containing a similar apparatus for controlling operation mode.
EFFECT: possibility of switching between two operation modes of the device using a simple device for indicating selected operation mode.
